To celebrate the 70-year anniversary of the collaboration between the Carl Hansen and Son brand and the Danish designer Hans J. Wegner, 5 of the icons designed by master Wegner for the Carl Hansen brand were chosen and reinvented.
The five iconic chairs have been modified and reinvented by the British designer Ilse Crawford who developed her project starting from the idea of colour, an accurate palette full of colors completely in a contemporary style. The choice of current colors fits perfectly with the timeless shapes of the five chairs by Carl Hansen.
The rich, painterly colors are inspired by the works of P. Kireby, a well-known Danish painter. Each component of the color is specially designed to give depth to the shapes and create atmosphere.
